Part was well constructed, as described and arrived quickly.
The 2-year old gas spring on the rod locker of my bass boat had come loose (unscrewed). When I couldn't manually compress it, I assumed it had frozen up. So, I ordered this one...only to discover that I couldn't manually compress it either.
So, I put the original back on and it works fine. I was not aware of how much pressure these gas springs required.
My bad....but, now I have an extra one, in case one fails in the future...

I have a Sportsman 214 Tournament. I ordered some new seat cushions. I wanted the tan but website was only showing them in white so I called customer service. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Got what I wanted ordered and told me it was about an 8 week lead time. At about 6 weeks I received a call from Essenbay they told me they had come in early and were fixing to ship out to me. Seat cushions were a direct replacement and easy to install. This item is a replacement for an Attwood chrome cap. Perfect fit, only issue was the stiff fuel hose with coil. Replaced part of the hose to be within CG regulations, problem solved.
